The owner was a great host, breakfast was delicious and filling. The pastries are the cherry on top. I was here for breakfast and wanted to try dinner, unfortunately they close early on Sundays. Definitely recommend you come and stop by. Service was excellent, very attentive staff.
We’ve eaten here 4 times now. The galette is the best thing in the menu. Most dishes come with a fresh & delicious side salad. The breakfast pastries are excellent. For dessert the creme brulee is on point. They close mid day so check hours. Great little gem. Sometimes it can take a while for service but the food and the passion of the staff/owners makes up for any small criticism.
This review comes from the salvage man. Should you want good fresh bread arrive early or order ahead. Everything was good so was the service. Not expensive, the baguettes were outstanding, second to none in Loreto
Fantastic ! Do not miss. Great food, friendly staff, the best ambiance. Emmanuelle even baked us a custom dessert for a birthday celebration. This is the place to go for the best breakfast pastries and quiches. The dinner specials are perfection.
Delightful place! A must stop for brunch or dinner if you are in the Loreto area. If you can, arrive no later than 9:30am so that you can have some of the freshly baked goods, which they bake every morning!
The pastries the sweet french woman owner brings out is enough to give 5-stars!!! Update: We’ve come here more than 10 times within 3 years and Le Bistro never fails to charm and amaze us, whether it’s for brunch or dinner. Emmanuelle, Christian and the rest of the staff and the food they serve are fantastic. We always make sure to come back and visit every time, like old friends!!!
FINE FRENCH FARE The lady who owns this bistro is a true gem. She makes delicious breads and pastries, while the chef prepares delicious food. I don’t think I’ve ever had an egg fried as perfectly as I had this morning on top of my “galette,” which was more like a crepe to this silly American. The husband had the fruit cocktail and enjoyed drinking the juice after he ate the perfectly ripe fruit. He also had a croque monsieur and said it was better than he has ever had. If you’re not staying in Nopolo, it’s worth a call to the bistro to make sure they’re open. They were closed during their posted “open” hours on multiple occasions during our 10 day stay here.
Loved this place, true French chef. They have a fixed dinner menu with 1 option per day, please let them choose for you and enjoy an evening here with live music. The crepe suzette was amazing, they also have jams for sale made by the Chef, we bought several as they were delicious. Truly a place to visit if you come to Loreto. A Must! thankful for this wonderful evening.
